Week 8: Monday

I just read the story Monkeys paw... It is about a superstitious monkey's paw that grants wishes. There is a catch, once a wish is granted a thing in your life goes away. The first wish they make is to have 2 hundred pounds or something like that. The thing that happens is their son dies and they got money from it.

Week 4: Monday

Still reading the Giver. Jonas has got his assignment, he is the receiver. Asher got Rec. Instructor. Jonas is being given all of the past memories of generations before. It hurts sometimes but is okay.

Week 3: Thursday

We are now reading about this family that lives in this town. They consist of Two parents and two children. They seem normal but they are really weird if you look at it through my eyes. The parent have to register for a kid. They dant even get to name it!

Week 3 :Wednesday

We are reading the Giver... it is about this community that stays away from the rest of the world. They do different things than everybody! they have different rules and ways of life. Each person has a job to do. They do not get to chose anything.

Wednesday Week 2

I am reading this book about a girl who is physically and verbal abuse. In elementary she loved this boy, and had no idea that he liked her too. He left school but came back her senior year, she was always picked on by everyone and had NO friends. He liked her and they started dating, he was rick she was poor. He asked her to marry him, she thought no. They got married eventually!

Week One: Tuesday

Stargirl goes back to her normal self. Leo ignores her and she ignores him a little. Leo doesn't want to be know with her, then she just leaves town. he goes to her house and nobody is there. She is never seen again. Until ..... One day when Leo is 20-30's and he receives a Tie in the mail (One that he collects) he hopes of finding Stargirl again.

4th Quarter: Week One: Monday

I am reading StarGirl. The book centers on 10th grade student at Mica Area High School in Arizona named Susan "Stargirl" Caraway. She spent her previous years in homeschooling. Eleventh-grader Leo Borlock narrates throughout the story. Leo likes her but doesn't know to like her and her weird ways or not. He make her change herself to date her. She can't stand it so she goes back to her normal self.

Week 2: Friday

Billy had to go hunt another night because... that was the rules. When they got to the hunting grounds a blizzard was comming. While looking for there dogs the Grandpaw slipped and fell, he sprained his ankle. They found the dogs and set up a fire on the river bank. While Grandpaw was resting Billy and his Pa cut down the tree in which the dogs had treeed a coon. When they cut it down they realized that it had 3 coons in it. After awhile they got all the coons killed and won the Champitionship! When the got home they gave the cup to the sister, a gold coin to the other sister adn 300$ to the Ma.

Week 2 : Thursday

In the book as you know Billy, Grandpaw and his Pa are going to a hunting contest. Billy has promised his little sister the trophy if he wins. When they are on there way to tha contest Billy fells like a man, and gets super excided. When they get there Billy enters Lil Ann in a beauty contest. She wins. The night that they go hunt first the kill 3 coons.

Week Two: Monday

I had on last week's post Week 2, But it really was Week 1. Sorry. Today we read more on "Where the Red Fern grows". It was about Billy making a bet with two boys he could tree a old coon. In the end Old Dan and Lil' Ann really did but then they got  into a fight and so did the dogs. One of the boys was going to break up the fight but tripped and fell into the ax. He died. Then Billy's Grand-Paw signed Billy and his dogs up for a hunting contest.

Week Two: Wednesday

Still reading the same book. Today Billy earns the money himself to get the dogs. He is forced to walk 30 minutes to receive them. He does and trains them to hunt. It is the first night of hunting season and Billy takes his dogs hunting and trees a Coon. The only way for billy to get the coon is to cut down the tree, now in the story that is what he is doing.

Week Two: Tuesday

The book, in class, we are reading is "Where the Red Fern Grows". It is soo boring because i know what is going to happen, also i have read, and seen the movie. Today we read the first part. In which the bot begs for dogs. HIS parent say No. He tries everything

Week Two: Monday

I read Beastly!! OMGosh it was so good. It was about this popular boy who is snobby, and has no appreciation for his money and what he had. A "which" turns him into a beast. He is forced to learn that the inside is more important that your appearance outside. He has two years to find someone who will love him for he is. He does. I give it 6/5 stars!
